Welcome to Tahoe Cruises, home of our two tour boats, the Spirit of Tahoe and the Safari Rose. Since 1979, Tahoe Cruises has provided tours of Lake Tahoe, Emerald Bay, hosted weddings, private charters, and sunset cruises for over 45 years

Safari Rose Sunset Cruise
This Cruise is a relaxing morning cruise aboard the Safari Rose, featuring bottomless mimosas, free coffee, tea, and juice, plus a light charcuterie-style breakfast. Enjoy stunning lake views, fresh air, and a laid-back start to your day. Additional drinks are available for purchase at the bar.
Lake Tahoe Wine Tasting Cruise
Sip your way across Lake Tahoe on our 2-hour Wine Tasting Cruise. Enjoy curated wines poured by a winery or wine expert, paired with light appetizers and stunning views aboard the Safari Rose.
Our Yachts
The Spirit of Tahoe joined our fleet in June of 2021. Originally from Miami, she was renovated for daily cruises on Lake Tahoe. Offering guests ample indoor and outdoor seating for daily cruises to Emerald Bay and the Sunset Champagne Cruise every evening. She serves as our main daily cruise boat but can be chartered for private events.

The Safari Rose is a classic 85-foot yacht built in 1959 for the 3M corporation as their executive corporate yacht. After a two-year renovation, she has been restored to her former glory along with some upgraded modifications. She is primarily used for weddings, charters, reunions, etc. while also being available for occasional public cruises.

Where do the cruises depart from?
All cruises depart from our dock in South Lake Tahoe, at the Ski Run Marina. 900 Ski Run Blvd, South Lake Tahoe CA
You’ll receive the exact address and parking details in your confirmation email after booking.
What should I wear?
Dress in layers! Even on warm days, it can be cooler on the lake. Comfortable shoes are also recommended.
Are drinks and food included?
It depends on the cruise.
– Brunch Cruise: Includes bottomless mimosas, coffee, tea, juice, and a light charcuterie-style breakfast.
– Happy Hour Cruise: Includes light appetizers and drink specials.
– Wine Tasting Cruise: Includes wine tastings and light appetizers.
– Sightseeing Cruises: Drinks and snacks are available for purchase.
– Sunet Champagne Cruises: Mimosa or champagne induced.
Yes, both vessels have hard liquor, wine, and beer.
Can I buy additional drinks on board?
Is there an age limit?
All ages are welcome on all cruises. However, guests must be 21+ with valid ID to consume alcohol or participate in specialty cruises like Wine Tasting.
Is seating assigned?
No, seating is open. You’re free to move between the indoor and outdoor areas throughout the cruise.
What happens in bad weather?
We cruise rain or shine! Our boats have spacious indoor areas for your comfort. In the case of extreme weather, we’ll contact you with updates.
Are your cruises wheelchair accessible?
Please contact us in advance so we can accommodate your needs and provide the best experience possible.
How early should I arrive?
We recommend arriving 20–30 minutes before departure to check in and board on time.
Can I bring my own food or drinks?
Outside food and drinks are not permitted, as we offer a curated selection on board
